I think that some of the language is excessive : this is a development of houses primarily on fields not the total destruction of an area of great interest to science. I bought my house because the location was perfect - next to establish trees and a green I was informed was going to be a play park - ideal for my family. Deer park I do not know of any intention to develop this area and recognise its value as green space.
